Description: Computer engineers are engaged in a wide range of creative and responsible activities in production and management of information systems as well as of systems for process and service automation both from the standpoint of the hardware architectures and of the development and application of software.
Main employment positions for Computer Engineers: Industries working at the development of hardware and software; companies working in the area of information systems and computer networks; companies producing multimedia services, e-commerce solutions, and providing services via the Internet; information services in the Public Administration; industries for the automation and robotics; companies working in e-commerce, electronics, electro-mechanics, space, and chemistry applications featuring automation tools and systems integrating software components, measurement, communication devices, and actuators; industries operating in manufacturing, transportation, and logistics; the development of the individual professional activity and the teaching in education structures.
